All immunisation encounters are sent electronically to the Australian Immunisation Register. We offer all immunisations in the National Immunisation Program, as well as other recommended private vaccinations. Annual influenza vaccination is also recommended for all children from the age of 6 months, administered during our annual influenza clinics. Please inform our Reception staff if you are requiring any childhood immunisations.

Our GPs provide medical assessment and treatment for our patients with chronic health issues.  Our Nurses coordinate our General Practice Management Plans for chronic disease care, assessing our patients and arranging subsidised Team Care Arrangements with allied health professionals for eligible patients. Patients see their GP to finalise the Management Plan, usually all on the same day.

Immunisations for adults are an important aspect of health promotion. We offer all immunisations in the National Program, including influenza, pneumococcal, whooping cough and shingles, as well as a full travel vaccine service. Please inform our Reception staff if you are requiring immunisations to be booked.

If you are travelling overseas, we recommend attending the practice to discuss travel destinations and potential health risks. It is ideal to consult with your GP 6 weeks before your departure, as some vaccines require a course of injections, but it’s never too late to come in for advice. We offer private travel vaccinations and are a registered Yellow Fever vaccination centre. Please contact Reception and speak to one of our Nurses who can assist to plan your vaccinations.

The most effective management for skin cancer is early detection and treatment. All of our GPs are trained to perform skin checks and diagnose skin lesions. We have GPs who have special interest and training in Skin Cancer Medicine, who also utilise dermatoscopes and photography to accurately diagnose skin conditions. A skin check usually takes about 10 minutes and can be performed in a standard appointment. If you have any particular concerns about any spots or moles, please inform your GP.

Several of our GPs perform minor procedures to remove skin lesions. All specimens are sent to our pathology service for diagnosis. Procedures are performed in our treatment rooms with clinical assistance from our Nurses. Please book in for an initial assessment with your GP.

Our Nurses coordinate our health assessment programs for patients aged 45-49 and 75+ years old. We encourage these assessments as part of our commitment to health promotion and illness prevention. Our Nurses complete portions of both health assessments and provide home visits to our patients aged 75+.  GPs finalise the assessments and health recommendations are offered.

Patients who are booked in for a 45-49 year old health assessment are encouraged to print and complete the attached forms and bring your appointment please.
